So what’s in a name?

The name Honeybell was not plucked out of the air but is in fact a combination of chance and coincidence. When Jenny was looking to name her company, friends were researching her family tree and on her mother’s side of the family they found Jenny’s Great Grandmother – Hannah Honeybell. Further research discovered that Hannah was born in India where her father, Job, was a Sergeant Major in the British Army, having first served in China in the 1840’s he was moved to India where he met and married Elizabeth, Hannah was one of eight children. They later returned to England and settled in Manchester. Little is known about her as she died relatively young and all records and family history were lost during the bombing of Manchester in the Second World War.
